How and why did you get involved with Irvine Beat FM? : I like the idea of the Irvine having its own radio station, with the focus being totally on the Irvine area.

What are your favourite types of music? : Absolutely every kind, I have a very large vinyl and CD collection with artists as diverse as Frank Sinatra through to Black Sabbath

What’s your favourite breakfast? : A Fry Up

What’s your favourite dinner? : Haggis

If you have a day off and some cash in your pocket, what would you do? : Go to my favourite record shop

When did you last have a lie-in? : Sunday

What are the last three things you bought? : A Loaf, Milk & The Sunday Mail

Do you play any sport? : Some Golf

Do you follow any sport/teams? : Celtic

Do you have a hero? : Lots of heroes, for different things

Have you met anybody famous? : I don’t know if this counts, but I’m Facebook friends with Ed Manion from Bruce Springsteen’s E street band. We converse regularly and I have had great history lessons about the history of the New Jersey music scene, straight from the horses mouth…so to speak.

Favourite film? : Midnight Express

Favourite Book? : Rod Stewart’s autobiography
