5 Minute Interview with Ian Harris

How and why did you get involved with Irvine Beat FM? : I got involved with Irvine Beat FM by writing in to see if I could help out in some way, as I’ve always had an interest in radio presenting and production. I started in Hospital Radio at Ayr Hospital aged 14, up until 20 years old. I studied NC Sound Engineering and Radio production and HNC Radio Broadcasting and Production at North Glasgow College Glasgow along with presenting on various college/university radio stations and local community radio stations. After college, I worked with CSV Media, Radio Clyde, West FM / West Sound Radio and Scottish Television. After a number of years of the media scene, I have found my chance to return to my love of radio and working at 107.2 Irvine Beat FM.
